Join us in February 2025

To be eligible to start as a graduate in February 2025, you'll need to finish your degree by the start date. We are looking for graduates to join our seven offices around the country, so there is bound to be a location that suits you.

Audit New Zealand will be at campus events happening around the country. We’d love to meet you in person!

From the beginning:

  • you’ll be given responsibility and work on an exciting diversity of clients, where no one project is the same;
  • you’ll be part of a diverse and inclusive environment, where you're supported and mentored by your peer group, buddy, mentor, and senior leaders.

Our outstanding in-house training is the best in the business; we’ll help you develop the knowledge and expertise you need to fast-track your career development!

Application steps

Application iconApplication: When you apply, we will ask you to provide a copy of your CV and cover letter. Your cover letter should include details about why you are applying for the Audit New Zealand Graduate Programme. Highlight any skills or experience that make you a great candidate, and make sure your name is part of the filename of any documents you attach.

Online assessments iconOnline assessments: We will send you a link to our online assessments and video introduction. It’ll take about 35 minutes to complete the assessments, so please schedule the time and remove yourself from distractions.

The video introduction is four questions, and you have up to 90 seconds to answer each one. Don’t forget to dress for the interview!

Closing date iconClosing date: You will have three days to complete the assessment and the video introduction. Please don’t leave it until the last hour!

Phone interview iconPhone Interview: If you’re short-listed for a job, we'll call you and ask you some general questions so we can get to know you better (nothing scary). This phone call is booked in advance, at a time that suits you.

Case study and final interview iconCase study and final interview: If the phone interview goes well, we’ll invite you to attend a final interview and complete a case study. We’ll give you plenty of information to help you prepare, but our best advice is ‘Just be you’!

Decisions iconDecisions: We’ll offer graduate positions to successful applicants by the end of May. We can’t wait to make these phone calls!

  • in-depth training from our specialists and technical experts;
  • the tools you need to do your job, including a laptop and mobile phone; and
  • opportunities to make friends with other people in your year group. This support structure will be invaluable in the following years as you study, work, and find solutions together.

This is just the beginning. Your goals are important to us and we can’t wait to see your learning and development!
