Why choose Audit New Zealand?

The work we do helps to ensure that New Zealand’s public sector is reporting its financial and non-financial performance information appropriately. We have a responsibility to be the best we possibly can be. So we are dedicated to helping you to be your best.

We’re well known for our commitment to developing all of our staff regardless of their level in the organisation. From the beginning, you’ll be supported by a dedicated mentor. You’ll also receive training in technical and non-technical subjects to help you realise your potential and become a highly qualified auditor.

There’s plenty of variety. We audit about 660 public entities, from hospitals, universities and government departments to local councils, airport companies, and even the Cable Car in Wellington.

The public entities that we audit are situated throughout New Zealand, so many of our staff travel a lot.

If you would like to help improve New Zealand’s public sector, why not join us?

You can meet us at career fairs and information sessions during February and March.
