These are CA-qualified staff who have variety and responsibility. Staff at this level are fully competent in carrying out an audit and contribute to strategic business initiatives.
Audit Managers
Working across our business, Audit Managers ensure that audits are of a high standard. They also mentor and coach staff, and are responsible for practice management.
Audit Directors
Audit Directors sign audit opinions on behalf of the Auditor-General, and are responsible for managing client relationships. Audit Directors take active leadership roles and also mentor staff.
Assurance specialists
Assurance specialists provide advice to staff and to external clients on matters such as asset management, procurement, and risk management.
Administrative professionals
Our team of Executive Assistants, Administrators, and Office Managers are friendly and supportive. They operate as a national team.
Corporate services
This group includes professionals in IT, HR, Finance, Communications, Corporate Administration, and Information Services. Corporate services staff support both Audit New Zealand and the Office of the Auditor-General. These jobs are listed on the Auditor-General’s website.
