Having begun his career at Audit New Zealand Steve returned to take up his role as Executive Director. Prior to that Steve was based in New York as the Director of Operations for the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC).

Melanie joined the Office of the Auditor-General in October 2015. She heads the Office’s Legal Group, which provides legal advice and support across all aspects of the work of the Office of the Auditor-General and Audit New Zealand. Melanie has held various policy and legal roles within the New Zealand public sector since 1994. |

Paul has held his current role – Head of Government Finance Profession and Chief Government Accountant – since October 2014. He is focused on skills development in strategic financial management across the public service and helping finance teams achieve their potential. He is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Australia New Zealand, CPA Australia and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales. |

Paul O'Neil joined the Serious Fraud Office as General Counsel in December 2016. Prior to this appointment, he was the Head of Enforcement at the Financial Markets Authority responsible for overseeing conduct of the FMA's civil and criminal proceedings. |
