Peter qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in the United Kingdom. He has worked in surveying, construction, and property management roles in the public and private sectors, most recently as Head of Service for a large social housing provider.
He spent 20 years with the Audit Commission in the United Kingdom, leading a team of specialist audit and assurance staff. From there, he was seconded for 12 months to Audit New Zealand in 2008. Peter returned to us as Associate Director in January 2020.
Peter’s audit and assurance experience includes:
- providing assurance over construction and infrastructure projects;
- delivering audit support activity in relation to asset management, procurement, and contract management; and
- reviewing organisational development, performance management, and data quality programmes.
Peter has a BA honours degree in housing and gained a master’s degree in business administration (MBA) specialising in quality assurance and statistical process control. In 2012, he completed a master’s degree in project management (MSc) through part-time study. He is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Housing and a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
