I wanted my work to count, to have a positive impact, and I wake up every day knowing that it does.
It is such a rewarding feeling, being able to help clients that provide essential services, whether it's health, education, or local councils.
Coming into this internship I did not know what to expect. I wasn't sure whether I was equipped with all the tools that I needed to successfully complete the job. But coming to work I get to be myself. I would highly recommend Audit New Zealand's Internship to anyone. Because it has set me up with the knowledge and the experience that I need to start of my career on the right foot.
