Rehan Badar is an Audit Director with extensive experience in the public and commercial sectors. He was previously appointed an Associate Audit Director in 2019, after working as a Manager, Quality Assurance in the Audit Quality team at the Office of the Auditor-General.
Before that, Rehan was a Senior Manager with PwC for 11 years, working in several countries, including Pakistan, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, and New Zealand.
Rehan’s portfolio includes:
- Government departments;
- Crown entities; and
- local authorities.
Rehan has a strong involvement in the accountancy profession, sitting on member committees for both Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
Rehan is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan and is involved with the Multicultural Council of Wellington.
